蘆薈

據説蘆薈源自溫暖乾燥的北非地區。公元前1550 年至1553 年的埃及醫學文獻Papyrus Ebers最早記載了蘆薈作用。蘆薈已被用作保健品及化妝品成份近數千年。

作為有效的健康飲料，蘆薈汁越來越受歡迎。數以百計的研究報告顯示：蘆薈中含有維他命、礦物質、氨基酸、酵素以及大量其他營養成份。

為什麽要從蘆薈葉裡除去蘆薈素？
新鮮的蘆薈汁含有蘆薈素，它是很強的瀉劑，因此必須先將之除去之後才能安全地將蘆薈汁做成具局部功效的產品或健康飲料。蘆薈素是由大黃素與葡萄糖所組成的混合物，當蘆薈一經加熱殺菌，蘆薈素被除去之後，蘆薈的汁液即可作內服用。
